The President represents IHIMA in all areas concerning the
Health Information Management profession and serves as a Delegate.

This is a two (2) year commitment. The Treasurer controls
the disbursement and receipt of all IHIMA related funds. Financial

Delegate Responsibilities:
This is a two (2) year commitment. Delegates are elected by
the membership. Each Delegate is responsible for communicating
IHIMA and AHIMA information to regional association members
as well as listening to these members allowing the exchange
of grassroots information with the Executive Board and AHIMA
through the House of Delegates.

This committee serves as a liaison with third party payors
and Indiana PRO to communicate and resolve membership concerns
and issues.

Legislative Responsibilities:
This committee promotes the visibility of IHIMA with State
and Federal legislators and regulatory agencies. Also provides
input into development of legislation related to health information
practice in cooperation with affiliated societies. Committee
also maintains yearly updates to the Release of Information
Guide.

This committee prepares the ballot of officers for membership
voting and nominates members for the AHIMA triumph awards.

The success of the committee is driven by the ability to promote
the image of the IHIMA professional and the activities of
the various committees to its members and the the community.
This committee is also responsible for the coordination and
raising of scholarship funds through our not-so-silent auction.

This committee acquaints the public about the HIM Profession
and organizes recruiting efforts with the schools. Such events
