2023-2024 Call for IHIMA Ballot Nominations


Dear IHIMA Member,
Have you been wondering how you can become more involved and make a difference with IHIMA? Do you have the desire to network with HIM professionals in your local area? Now is your chance and now is the time! IHIMA is in need of professionals like YOU, to help serve our membership, guide our working professionals, and share expertise, to assist in advancing IHIMA’s future goals and vision!

Participating on the IHIMA Board will allow you to lend your leadership and vision to our association and contribute to shared AHIMA goals and vision for your state association. Serving on the Board gives our members the opportunity to directly impact the direction and operations of an association serving health information professionals and the healthcare industry in the state of Indiana. IHIMA Board service provides a chance to grow personally and professionally, gain unique experience and make lasting connections with a team of other passionate and motivated health information professionals. Serving on the Board also provides you the opportunity to develop valuable skills in non-profit governance, program planning and strategic planning.

Please help lead our state association and profession in the future by nominating a colleague or yourself for our ballot. All applicants must be an *Active* IHIMA Member to be considered for the ballot.


Positions open for 2023-2024

President-Elect- 3 year Term
IHIMA Board, AHIMA Board, and/or other AHIMA CSA Board Experience required

Secretary- 1 year Term
No previous board experience required.

Delegate- 2 Year Term- 1 person
IHIMA Board, AHIMA Board, and/or other AHIMA CSA Board Experience required.

Nominating Committee Members- 2 people- 1 year Term
No previous board experience is needed
