Applications for the Student Volunteer Program will be accepted April 1-30.

AHIMA is bringing back their exciting Student Volunteer Program at the AHIMA20 Conference in Atlanta, GA, October 14-17. This volunteer program is intended to give an opportunity for current students or new graduates to attend the 2020 AHIMA Conference with all expenses paid (within the AHIMA travel policy guidelines including flights, accommodation, transfers, and meals). The selected volunteers will be assigned activities throughout the conference. This is a great opportunity for our future leaders to become more engaged in the profession! Volunteer activities may include:

  • Registration
  • Info Booth
  • Door Monitors
  • Stuff bags
  • Bag and badge pickup
  • Pre-meeting support
  • Career Theater and Fair
  • Introducing speakers
  • Foundation/Auction
  • *Additional tasks as they arise

A limited number of students are chosen for this highly coveted program. Applications for the Student Volunteer Program will be accepted April 1-30. Announcements will be made on the Future Leaders Engage Community and AHIMA social media about this opportunity.
